What We Do

We are a small family run business and do not outsource any of our work. We paint and repaint all types of kitchens, from brand new to restoration of existing kitchens.

Hand painting a kitchen is a bespoke and luxury choice of finish and provides a natural and beautiful appearance.

RESTORING EXISTING KITCHENS

By repainting an existing kitchen you avoid the disruption and addition costs of replacing flooring, tiles as well as the actual kitchen itself. Restoring an existing kitchen is an extremely cost effective and environmentally friendly option. With the same quality finish and look of a brand-new bespoke kitchen, the end result can often look better than the original kitchen.

PAINTING NEW KITCHENS

I work with both private clients and prestigious bespoke kitchen companies, including Mark Wilkinson Furniture, Smallbone of Devizes, Plain English, Diog Kitchens and many more. These companies demand the finest craftsmanship, and I pride myself on achieving the very best hand-painted finishes possible with a brush.

MINIMAL DISRUPTION TO YOUR HOME

Most kitchen doors and drawers can be removed and taken to our workshop where 70% of the work can be carried out. This causes minimal disruption to your home and allows us to remove the hinges and prepare and paint the doors properly.

THE ALL IMPORTANT PREP

When hand-painting a new or modernising an existing kitchen, we believe that a great job begins with the right preparation. We start by carefully inspecting for any imperfections, which are then made good.

We use low tack tapes and plastic protection inside all units & flooring and then a specialist Festool dust free sanding equipment. With an existing kitchen it is firstly correctly masked, then a degreasing agent is applied. Once all of this has been done your kitchen is ready for painting!

CREATING A FLAWLESS FINISH

When using quality paint, you must have the correct consistency along with the right application, to give a quality consistent sheen all over the furniture. The correct amount of paint is needed when applying to achieve the flawless look on cabinet doors.

THE HAND PAINTED FINISH

When all the prep has been completed, your chosen colour comes into play. We will apply an adhesion primer of the same colour before the durable finish coats are applied, allowing us to achieve a brushless flawless finish.
